Bio

Lee lives with his wife and daughter in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and has been a life-long resident in this area. His interest in acoustic music began at age 16 when he was first introduced to the coffee house scene in Milwaukee, by going to the Catacombs Coffeehouse. It took only one visit to listen to a guy by the name of Bill Camplin, and his acoustic group, called Woodbine, to start a fire for this type of music. While in college he was in a duo called Winterwood, with a college buddy, and toured some of the campuses in Wisconsin, as well as the coffeehouses. Even though acoustic music was a focal point for him he continued with his ambition to become a police officer. Just after his sophomore year in college he landed a job on a small town police force and worked full-time until graduation in 1975, at which time he took a job on a suburban police force in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin. He continues his police career, and lives with his wife and daughter, while moon lighting with his acoustic music in southeastern Wisconsin. Lee is a avid writer of songs, both vocal and instrumental, and writes from experiences of his job, his family, and the great outdoors, and anything else that happens to influence him. He also helped to start an acoustic concert series in Milwaukee called the K.O.G. Café (www.kogcafe.com) and recorded his first CD in 1999. A new CD is being planned, between work schedules, family schedules and gig schedules, and will hopefully get off the ground in the very near future.

Lee’s music is both emotional and foot stomping with great fingerstyle work, all, which comes from the heart.
